قال شيخ الإسلام ابن تيميّة رحمه الله: “لا يدلُ علىٰ رضاهُ بدينهم بل ولا علىٰ إقرارهم عليه، بل يدلُ علىٰ براءتهِ مِن دينهم ولهذا قال النَّبِيُّ صّل الله عليهِ وَسلّم :-
